Hey-lo again. Hope this finds you well. Life has been crazy busy with school starting in just ONE WEEK. The kids are looking forward to it, and are excited to be picking out school supplies (a backpack and pencil box color are really about all the choices they have). But they are enjoying it anyway. I'm especially enjoying the savings this year: OfficeMax ($0.01 Crayons, Rulers, and Filler paper, $0.10 pencils), Office Depot ($0.05 white glue, $0.05 folders), Target (most items $0.20 to $1.00), and Staples ($0.10 composition books), KMart ($8.00 backpacks - with $2 back in rewards for each). I try to stay away from Walmart, but they good thing is they will match prices. Still I try to stay away from it.
I'm also becoming a semi-extreme couponer, lol. I say semi because I do not buy any toiletry items without a coupon, and I've become more diligent about comparing prices for groceries. And don't you just love the $10 off $10+coupons from JC Penneys? But I'm not obsessive or anything - I swear. Last year I spent around $45 on school supplies, not counting new backpacks, this year I've spent less than $10 (again minus backpacks) LOVE IT!
In other news, my daughter has become a cartoonist. I will have to post some of her latest creations in my next blog, when I start the "I love my babies moment" again. She's great, you gotta see this stuff.
I've also become a hardcore crocheter in the last month since I picked up a book at the Dollar Tree. I've even opened a new store on Zibbet.com to showcase some along with the beading I've been doing for a while. I really do need someone to help me understand sewing patterns too and that will be my next conquest. Will be seein you again soon, take care.
